The Veizla Side Table, designed by Per Ploug, is a stunning addition to the Pemara Design product line. Inspired by the success of the Veizla dining furniture, this side table continues the vision of creating informality with elegance. The goal is to encourage social interaction by designing furniture that makes people feel welcome and engaged.

The Veizla Side Table stands out with its unique features and strengths. Its tripod legs are based on the same angles and splaying as the Veizla Dining Table, giving it a formal yet playful and elegant stance. The tabletop is a fusion of an equilateral triangle and a circle, creating a visually appealing and versatile design. Placed between two easy chairs by a wall, the shape invites conversation and social interaction. When placed with a statement chair in a corner of a room, the table sits snugly to the chair's side, adding a touch of sophistication to any space.

Like the Veizla dining table, the Veizla Side Table is made from solid wood. It can be produced in any available or desired wood, allowing for customization and versatility. The undercarriage is designed with stretchers to carry the table top, making it strong enough to support other materials such as lacquered wood, laminates, stone, and glass. This flexibility ensures that the table will look and work equally well with a round table top.

The Veizla Side Table measures 750mm in width, 750mm in depth, and 540mm in height, providing a comfortable and ergonomic experience. Its versatility allows for easy customization in terms of wood used and table top material, making it a perfect fit for any interior design style.

The project to create the Veizla Side Table started in February 2017 and was completed in May 2017. The design process involved careful consideration of dimensions to ensure the table's functionality and aesthetic appeal. The main challenge was to create a side table that would seamlessly fit in with the rest of the Pemara Design product lines, and Per Ploug successfully achieved this goal.

The Veizla Side Table has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018, which is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. This prestigious award acknowledges the table's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
